Triple Tile
Triple Tile is among the latest releases in the increasingly popular matching genre that seems to be getting better and more interesting with each passing day and it’s a great game that does an excellent job of demonstrating just why this particular genre has been so successful since its inception. The game doesn’t attempt to do anything out of the ordinary and features a fairly straightforward design but, nonetheless, it’s still an absolute treat to play and is definitely capable of having anyone who tries it out hooked for hours upon hours.
The gameplay of Triple Tile revolves around matching together three tiles in order to remove them from the playing field. Unlike traditional match-3 games, though, you don’t actually swap tiles around to make matches and, instead, must pick them out from the playing field and place three identical tiles in the bottom bar to match them together. You’ll have to start over from the beginning if the bar fills up with tiles and there isn’t a match of three identical ones but, overall, the core gameplay certainly manages to impress and is certainly going to put your skills to the test as you go through the seemingly endless array of levels in the game.
The visuals of Triple Tile are also spot-on and don’t leave a thing to be desired. The game’s background artworks are all quite sleek and appealing to look at the tiles themselves look sharp and have expertly crafted designs on them, the animations are all buttery smooth, and the interface is sleek as well so, overall, the graphics of this game won’t let you down.
All said and done, Triple Tile is a top-of-the-line matching game that impresses on all fronts and we highly recommend it for anyone who’s on the hunt for a matching game that they can enjoy for multiple hours.
